Hey, I'm Julian!
I’m Julián Leon, proudly Colombian, and now calling New York home.
Photography, for me, is more than an image; it’s the art of preserving emotions, details, and atmosphere so they can be felt for a lifetime. I’m endlessly inspired by the way light, color, and movement can turn a moment into a cinematic memory.
Whether it’s a quiet glance, a burst of laughter, or the magic just before a kiss, my goal is to capture it with honesty and beauty — so you can relive not just how it looked, but how it felt.

“The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.”
– Andy Warhol

Since childhood, I’ve felt a profound connection to photographs. My parents kept a box full of printed memories—pictures of their youth, my grandparents in their prime, and trips they took when I was just a baby. Even without remembering those moments, the photos—paired with their stories—transported me to a narrative I hadn’t lived, yet could deeply feel.
Today, I bring that same sense of wonder into my work. I love capturing moments that matter—the quiet glances, the bursts of laughter, the tears of joy. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone relive their special day through my images. To me, photographs are like people: they grow more precious with time, carrying the weight of memories and emotions that only deepen as the years go by.
